“23:4” is an action fantasy webcomic that follows the story of a group of prematurely awakened death angels as they try to understand and fulfill their duties as grim reapers, fetching the souls of humans after death and leading them to the holy kingdom for judgment. Unfortunately, human souls aren’t as fragile as they seem once they leave their mortal bodies. Most cooperate, but others transform into powerful creatures called Unresteds that could kill an angel or demon with sometimes no effort at all.
Matters are made even more taxing when a surprise addition joins the group in the form of an angel named Celestino who would rather do anything but cooperate. Understaffed and unprepared these young angels must work together and fight hard unless they want to die slow and painful deaths like the ones who came before them.
